CARLA M. MITCHELL

I am Carla Mitchell, owner of MMS. I bring years of experience in corporate contract negotiations and vendor management with premier communications companies. I am also a trained mediator with more than 250 hours of combined training from UT Arlington – through Mediators Without Boarders, Lakewood College, the University of Wisconsin–Madison Extension, and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

My mediation certificates include Business, Family, Divorce, Domestic Violence, and Elder Care Mediation. I have facilitated private mediations and small claims mediations in Waukesha County and served as a contract mediator with the Milwaukee County Family Court.

As an ordained minister, I bring sensitivity, empathy, and compassion to each mediation session. My goal is to create a respectful environment where parties can be heard, explore meaningful options, and work toward practical solutions.

I have facilitated workshops focused on personal and professional relationships, conflict resolution techniques, interpersonal communication, and professional readiness. These workshops have served workforce development agencies, MATC, and social organizations.

I am a published author and have written articles on mediation and dispute resolution for local newspapers.

I am excited to relaunch MMS in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and surrounding communities through both in-person and virtual mediation options. This flexible approach allows MMS to:

• Expand available service offerings;
• Accommodate clients who need mediation outside normal business hours, when necessary; and
• Serve a broader client base across the region.
• Select Saturday mediations are available by special request.
